Best of the best! I absolutely love Sage Biscuit and stop by for at least one breakfast every time I'm in town. It's located in a small, unassuming little shopping center with a few other restaurants/businesses. Parking can be tough on the weekends.
They offer indoor and outdoor dining, which is such a treat on nice days. There's also first come first serve bar seating inside. Fair warnings the wait times can get looong on weekends but service is always solid and the food is so worth it. Their skillets, omelettes, and eggs Benedict are always fresh, big, and delicious. And Sage offers a nice mix of healthy and home style so should be something for everyone. Breakfast is served all day so I still haven't tried any of their lunch options but they look good.
They do have limited alcohol selections (beer and wine based cocktails) but I usually go for the iced tea flavor of the day.
Moral of the story, do yourself a favor and head to Sage biscuit, preferably on a weekday or early morning weekend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 3, 20241 check-in
Food: top notch, tasted great, even the oatmeal!
Service: very friendly but perfunctory
Ambiance: real standard, the First Watch formula but more crowded and less charming
- there is outdoor seating, but it's on a parking lot
Price per quality: honestly, really inexpensiveHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stephanie I.Atlanta, GA52621Apr 5, 2024
The food was great, but there's a couple things preventing a 5 star review. The first is the service: the poor lady that was our server had both big tables6-8 people or more and then tables outside. We saw her three times. There were a variety of others that brought our food. We were missing a dish and asked 3 people for it so we could eat. Then the missing dish arrived after 10-15 minutes. One server dropping food off was extremely rude. Everyone else was nice. The coffee drinks were a miss for us as well. I wanted to love this place but after a 45 minute wait the service was below average. We are divided on if we would return:

Get here early on a Sunday morning or you will be waiting. The brisket Benedict was fantastic!

Friends brought us here for breakfast which was great. The atmosphere good with good service. There is indoor seating or outdoors with a picnic vibe. The portions are good size with lots to chose from. They have good flavor and best of all they have espressooooooo :) I would recommend a try if in the area.

My three positives and a negative because the world needs more positivity:
+ Our server, Pam, was very nice. She provided a few solid recommendations (steering me away from something less than stellar)
+ She also let us know we could do the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Score. And it was reasonably priced- under $7
+ My friend was so excited to see corned beef hash on the menu. She ordered and was pleased with it. Not too salty, moist, flavorful. My eggplant eggs Benedict was the special. I had over a biscuit (which was scrumptious) with the sauce on the side
- on me, but everything I ordered was heavily breaded and fried. I would definitely try something differentHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Megan J.FL, FL01020Feb 19, 2024
We went to Sage for my birthday breakfast. The service was the star today. First, the hostess was a super sweetie and we had a great waitress. She was kind and responsive.
I always like the savory options, but I get a pancake on the side just to taste it! I tried the corned beef hash in honor of one of my father's favorites. It was a little vinegary and my eggs were over cooked, so not my favorite, but not horrible. My daughter got the jalapeño bacon and fried green tomato Benedict...always a good choice. My sons ordered the Sage Biscuit Platter and they were both happy.
We still love this place and I will keep trying something new. Maybe lunch next time!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 6, 2023
The Jalapeño Bacon-Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict is a delicious savory breakfast. The spicy bacon and the sage biscuit put this over the top! It is big enough to share in my opinion.
I was very impressed with their gluten-free options on the menu (french toast, bread, & pancakes!).
Friendly service with plenty of outdoor seating.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2023
On vacation turned on our dependable yelp locator to fine a good breakfast shop while on Anna Maria island Fl. Our trusted friends of yelp highly recommended sage biscuits 4.5 miles off the island.
