Being that I follow a keto plan, I don't worry too much about it. Instead, I'd come prepared to eat an omelet with cheese and meat, avoid the toast and potatoes and order tomato instead or a cheeseburger or something similar. They have great omelet… more

Best local place in town. Great food and amazing staff.
Great old school dinner feel. Great selection. The breakfast plates are named after the waitresses.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gino C.Nashville-Davidson metropolitan government (balance), TN140413Apr 15, 2024

Lenny's has been a staple for so long and it never stops being delicious every single visit.
The staff are awesome..the restaurant and decor itself is just one of a kind and don't miss the balloon maker if you have kiddos. Such a fun experience for all.

If I could give this diner, 10 stars, I would. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful! Make sure to call ahead and add your name to the waitlist. The food is incredible! I loved all of the complimentary pastries but my favorite was the banana bread. I ordered the omelette with pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and very flavorful. The winner was my husbands meal. Make sure to order the Redneck Benedict with onion home fries. I'm still dreaming about this breakfast and can't wait to go back!

Quite the memorable experience at this local institution. This bustling spot does classic American diner breakfast and Jewish deli staples under a festive atmosphere that even includes a balloon artist to entertain the kids on the weekends. Walls feature caricatures, photos of famous diners, and Phillies fan gear.
The portobello mushroom Benedict and BLT Benedict had perfectly cooked eggs and toasted English muffins. The complimentary Danish basket was a nice touch.
This spot is perfect for families to grab breakfast but I can imagine it can get quite busy on weekends. Luckily the food comes out pretty quick so the tables turn at a reasonable rate. They do have a parking lot but it was pretty full. We were warned not to park by the motel building next to the restaurant. Definitely worth a stop to experience this unique American diner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dave L.Appleton, WI34148331Mar 19, 2024
Having seen good reviews, I tried Lenny's twice during a recent visit to the area. If I lived in the area, it would probably be in my rotation of restaurants.
On both visits, both the parking lot and restaurant were packed. It seems to be the norm, as the friendly staff did not seem fazed by the throngs of customers. On both visits, my party and I experienced great service.
Don't worry that someone in your party won't find something to their liking. The menu is as packed with choices as their dining room is packed with patrons. On both visits, I found it difficult to choose my meal, as everything sounds good.
On my first visit, I picked an omelette with American fries and a side of tomato slices. The eggs were good, not remarkable. The hollandaise sauce was without real flavor. The fried potatoes were good. What blew me and my dining partners away was the individual baskets of pastries. The bottomless coffee and the pastry basket alone would have been filling; I didn't really need to eat the rest of the day.
On my second visit, I noticed all of the memorabilia on the walls. When a place is good and has been around for a long time, it has a chance to have been visited by many interesting people.
My second meal was the Reuben sandwich. If for no other reason, I'd return for another sandwich! The meat was piled high and the rest of the sandwich exemplified everything I want when I order a Reuben. My mouth waters as I think of it.
If you want breakfast or lunch, don't be leery of giving Lenny's a visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 23, 2024
We happened to be in the area and needed a place to grab breakfast. We drove by Lenny's and thought it looked like a promising breakfast spot because the parking lot was full. It could not hurt to try.
The menu is HUGE. So many choices. While we perused the menu, our server was quick to bring us coffee and a basket of complimentary danishes and quick breads. I had never been to a restaurant that offered that AND each person got their own basket of goodies!
I got one of their Outrageous Omelettes and my husband got the Corned Beef Hash. There was so much food. We barely made a dent in our plates and ended up taking food home.
When we are back in the area, we will definitely return to Lenny's!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nancy R.Dunedin, FL5642051831Feb 14, 20241 check-in
My husband and I decided to switch things up this Valentine's Day and opted for a cozy breakfast at Lenny's instead of the usual crowded dinner scene. Despite the busy morning rush, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately by a friendly host.
Our server was exceptional, paying close attention to every detail. I ordered the eggs over medium with beef hash browns, hot fries, grits, and sourdough toast--all for myself! My husband went for the scrambled eggs, beef, hash browns, and a side of biscuits and gravy. I couldn't resist trying a bit of the biscuits and gravy, and I must say, it was the best I've ever tasted!
Our son ordered the waffles and ham, which were also excellent. The hot coffee and water were always topped up, ensuring we had a warm and comfortable dining experience. When we were ready to leave, our server promptly brought over containers for our leftovers, and we couldn't resist taking some of their famous pastries to go.
Overall, our first time at Lenny's was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed Valentine's Day breakfast. We'll definitely be back for more!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 9, 2023
Very friendly place with a lot of ambience.
A big menu with many choices and daily specials. They make bakery items that are served with many menu options. They make their bagels too.
I had an omelet with home potatoes and a side of fruit. The potatoes were very greasy.
The pancakes were big and tasty.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 28, 2024
Quirky ? Yes but food is excellent and service is the best . Busy lunchtime but they said 10 minute wait and in just about 10 minutes we were called to be seated . Michelle was our server and she was amazing . Great personality and she knew everything about the menu and specials . Hubby had a burger cooked exactly as he asked and I had a grilled chicken sandwich on a delicious onion bun . Then they have this neat little " gimmick " where they serve a little side so hubby got beets and pickles I got an assortment of little pastries. Portions were generous and place was nice and clean . Just a second of 19 it's a great stop on the way to the beaches or ball game but they close at 3:00 so no dinner but breakfast is served all day .
