About the Business
We have a variety of burgers, each hand crafted and uniquely seasoned. We stuff our burgers (the cheese is in the center of the patty), so you get full flavor in every bite. If you are a true burger lover, you must try a Full Belly. You will not be disappointed. We also have excellent appetizers, side dishes, and house made mac n' cheese. And you can pair any of our excellent offerings with a cold beer from our extensive list of domestics, imports, and crafts. Wine is available as well.

Delicious concept
Located along SR70 just east of I-75, it really wasn't too far to travel from Sarasota to finally try a stuffed burger. I had checked out the menu beforehand and decided on their Bleu Cheese & Bacon Burger. I love bleu cheese and hoped it would be flavorful. It certainly was. The burger wasn't just a gimmick, it was actually stuffed with a good amount of bleu cheese. When it was dropped off and I was taking a photo I noticed there was a little bleu cheese oozing out. When I cut the burger in half, much more escaped.
My server asked if I wanted my burger medium well, which I did, but it does indicate you can specify how you want it cooked. It took about 10 minutes. The burger was juicy. I didn't notice any chopped bacon mixed with the ground beef, too preoccupied with scooping up and enjoying the cheese. The house chips were limp.
This is a table service restaurant, not very large, and was a bit dark inside. They have a couple of tables outside and a couple of TVs inside.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - R.J. V.Downers Grove, IL59160341Feb 8, 2020
Looking for a unique take on burgers? Then be sure to stop by and check this place out.
They offer an assortment of unique burgers with some unconventional ingredients. The Matt for instance has peanut butter inside the burger. But they have plenty of more standard options.
I also recommend you get the truffle tater tots. They taste good but I feel the extra cost for them was a bit steep.
The real winner off this place was the "Full Belvis". It's a deep fried peanut butter, jelly and banana sandwich. That was tasty. Don't pass it up if you can.
This place doesn't have the best burgers I've ever had, but it's certainly not bad. I'm sure you will enjoy your visit.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 23, 2019
Food was decent but not remarkable. Maybe my expectations were too high? Service was good but then again I was sitting right at the bar/service area and only 3-4 other table were in use.
Not bad, but no worries if you miss it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 24, 2017
Small place serving big burgers with big flavor! The "gimmick at Full Belly is the "stuffed burger". You can get your burger stuffed with a variety of cheeses or peanut butter. You can choose from one of the specially burgers or go custom.
12 year old went for the Matty Matt: A burger stuffed with peanut butter and sweet maple bacon. He also ordered grilled onions on top and it came with maple syrup on the side. What a combination! My son loved the new taste sensation of peanut butter in a burger!
Besides the stuffing, the burger itself was excellent. I can attest to that as my burger, The Plain Jane, was excellent as well. It was just a plain cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles (no stuffing). I did go for smoked Gouda cheese though. The burger was the perfect size, not mammoth, but much bigger than a Burgerfi or Shake Shack burger. It was nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly.
The burgers come with either House Chips or Cole Slaw. The house chips were home made. They were really crispy, without added salt! We also ordered some Fancy Fries (truffle Parmesan fries) that we very good as well.
The place offers several craft beers and a couple of wines. The restaurant is small but there is table service. Not a place for large groups though! Our server was pleasant and efficient. At $8-9/burger, Full Belly is very reasonable and a great choice for a casual meal when in Lakewood Ranch.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Jun 4, 2017
Never had a "stuffed burger" before..was definitely curious.
Bleu cheese and bacon burger: 3/5. It was definitely stuffed with bleu cheese...but I didn't like that part unfortunately.. It tasted a bit rancid and I feel the burger would have been a whole lot better without it.
Italian burger: 5/5. Delicious! The mozzarella cheese stuffing was much better and paired well with the tomatoes that were mixed into the beef patty.
They have lots of side options like fries, truffle tots, onion rings, etc. I've got the regular tator tots before..pretty standard.
Try their pineapple mango sauce...super yummy.
The main reason why I wanted to write this review..the dessert! I've got the Full Belvis twice and I absolutely love it. Sometimes I even crave it..cause it's so different than anything I've ever had. And its unique (which is one thing I love about my food.) It's basically a PB&J sandwich with banana and raspberry sauce. Trust me, it's good!
Sad I discovered this place during my last few months but I def recommend it to anyone in the areaHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jade S.Charles Town, WV15674324May 15, 2019
Wow! This is one of my favorite burger spots now. I tried the Matty Matt burger and it was delicious, easily becoming my favorite burger! The melted peanut butter that squeezed out of the burger is what made it, along with the bacon and spicy maple syrup. The onion rings were crispy and tasty, and the maple horseradish mustard was perfect with them.
The burgers are reasonably priced, and you can add on even more for an addition charge. The side items portion size was decent. Service was quick. I can't wait to come back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 13, 2017
Holy Cow cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. We stopped off here awhile back after looking up recommended places on the area. The outside is very unassuming, but as all foodies know, looks can be very deceiving. The restaurant consists of a bar and some seating with an open overall feel.
Staff was quick to greet us and get is menus. I poured for a stuffed burger and truffle fries. I always order my burgers medium, and for some reason that's a wildly different meaning depending on where you go. Here, they got it perfect. Pink inside with a slight red middle. It was packed full of gooey delicious cheese as well. The fries were great too.
They offer up beer and wine, with some local selections available also. I had a glass of pinot grigio which was a great combo to the herb cheese burger. We sat at the bar, so the bartender was our waitress, and she was quick, efficient, friendly and consistent.
Overall: A

I went to this burger place after church
And they had a double stacked peanut butter and jelly and banana fried sandwich with ice cream.
OMG
It would've been great to split! But you weren't here so I had to finish it

While visiting the local area we jumped on Yelp to get an idea of the 'in' places to dine. Full Belly Stuffed Burgers came up, and the photos --- well, burgers oozing stuff from their perfectly done centers, you can't go wrong, right?
Service was fast, and friendly! The location is much smaller than I expected, I could easily see this place being packed during the evenings/weekend (we went on a weekday afternoon).
The burgers were everything we hoped for, and more! Cooked just as requested, my PB burger was filled with hot and tasty PB, and came with a surprise side of maple syrup - which sounds 'odd', but OMB (Oh My Burger) it was heavenly! I ate it with a knife and fork, yum.
My only issue is I wish there was a location closer to Orlando --- if you are in the Sarasota area check it out.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 17, 2018
VERY Good stuffed burger joint! I was first introduced to them in the 'Mecca' of Stuffed Burgers: Minneapolis/St. Paul and DEFINITELY have my favorites there (Blue Door, Shamrock, 5-8 Club & Matt's).
My burger and tots were hot and fresh, although they could have either given more tots or serve in a smaller basket. There was a lot of empty space at the bottom of mine. My server was quick & friendly and did a great job. I'll definitely be back!
These guys just do a great job! I do think they should make a visit to the original Blue Door-St. Paul for some GREAT ideas!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
